Okay, so I feel a bit gracious that Steve and Apple did the right thing by not shafting us early adopter by giving us a $100 credit towards Apple store purchase Good job on keeping the abuse on the forums and on your image of “Think Different” different …
Most companies would of just said a big “FU” and gave us the technology BS (which Stevie did) initially to NYTimes, but after “hundreds” posts being deleted in the Apple support forums, feedback and what not…., they got the message
$100 bucks in store credit is actually a good marketing scheme actually.
- Most people that are EA already have Apple items, so $100 will be insufficient to buy a whole computer, but just basic accessories. That means that we will be forking over more money to actually buy the things we want..
- It means that the other $100 difference was the “technology” factor that everyone is talking about… items get cheaper through the product cycle
I look forward to next weeks official announcement. I have my receipt ready that’s for sure… It’s good to be on the Apple side of the camp.
